2007 Project Action Kick-A-Thon

On October 13, 2007, National Martial Arts Day, we got together to raise money for the Project Action Foundation. Project Action Foundation is a national, award-winning children’s charity whose mission is to prevent juvenile crime and gang involvement by providing disadvantaged and “at risk” children the opportunity to become involved in physical and cultural arts programs. Project Action has helped support over 10,000 “at-risk” children since its creation in 1994. Our students raised money and volunteered to perform as many kicks as they could in one hour. We performed a total of 10,173 kicks and raised $617.00. Congratulations kickers!
